About Levander Estates

Levander Estates History

Harold R. LeVander served as governor of Minnesota from 1967-1971. A practicing attorney at the firm of LeVander, Gillen & Miller in South St. Paul, Governor LeVander was ushered into office with one of the highest vote totals up to that point.

Rather than running for re-election, Governor LeVander decided to return to his life of active service to his law firm, community, and family. He and his wife, Iantha, continued to be active in political and civic activities for many years.

LeVander Estates was the site of their family home and retreat.
